We are passionate about the outdoors and the beautiful countryside that is our very own adventure playground here in Devon and Cornwall. We can arrange all of the following activities for you, either as a one day experience, or incorporated into one of our longer tailor made tours.

Horse Riding on Dartmoor.

Dartmoor provides the perfect setting for an exhilarating experience on horseback. Riding across the open expanse of one of the most beautiful national parks in the country, gives you a totally different perspective to walking. The scenery is stunning and whether you are an experienced rider or not so experienced in the saddle, we can offer something for everyone. Spend the day exploring the countryside, stopping for a delicious and well earned picnic lunch along the way. Why not stay longer and let us take care of your accommodation and meals too?

Fly Fishing

The rivers in Devon are renowned for their fishing, offering the chance to catch salmon, grayling and wild brown and sea trout. Our fly fishing experience offers the chance to learn or perfect the technique with a local expert, amongst some of the most tranquil and picturesque locations along the River Tamar in beautiful West Devon.

From one day personalised tuition (max 2 persons), to a full 4 day beginners course (max 8 persons) we can take care of everything including accommodation if required.

Falconry Days

A day of falconry is exciting, interactive and one of the best ways to get up close and personal with some of the most captivating and beautiful birds of prey in the UK. It takes place against a stunning backdrop of scenery in rural South Devon, and there is no better place to watch these magnificent creatures flying at their best. You will learn to handle the birds and get to see them flying at a privately run centre making it a totally unique and personal experience.

Tor to Tor Guided walks

Tor to Tor guided walks on Dartmoor.Dartmoor is a walkers paradise. With so much to explore and learn along the way, our guided walks give you an opportunity to experience all that this beautiful national park has to offer. From ancient settlements, to windswept Tors, we can take you off the beaten track with a knowledgeable and experienced guide to show you the way. We can tailor make a walk to your needs, whether you are an experienced hiker or just want a day out exploring the area. With over 368 sq miles of moorland to discover, our Tor to Tor guided walks are a perfect introduction to Dartmoor. We collect you from your accommodation and either send you off with all you need for an exciting and fun filled day exploring on your own by following our detailed maps and info, meeting you at a chosen location for a delicious gourmet picnic, or accompanying you throughout the day before dropping you back at your accommodation in the early evening.

E-Bike Tours

If you would like to explore more of the wild expanses of Dartmoor in one day, then our E-bike tours are the perfect way to do so. You can either spend a half or full day with a local guide, or simply hire some bikes and set off with our detailed linear routes, complete with places to stop along the way. Wind your way down the lanes and up over the hills, stopping off in beautiful wooded valleys and beside streams and rivers. We drop you off at a starting point each day, meet you en-route with a delicious gourmet picnic and collect you at the end of the day to return you to your holiday accommodation. You don’t have to be an experienced cyclist to enjoy E-bikes, and the battery makes it as easy or as hard going as you like, (although pedalling is required!), so the hills are far less daunting than on a normal bike. It’s a perfect way to spend the day with someone you love out in the fresh air on Dartmoor.

Max 2 persons per half or full day. Minimum age of 14 is required to hire our bikes.

Guided walks of the South West Coast Path

Hiking the South West coastal path is a truly wonderful experience. Jaw dropping views around every corner, wonderful flora and fauna to enjoy throughout the year, and a chance to enjoy this beautiful corner of the UK from a different perspective. With our itineraries, that can be self guided or accompanied by one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides we can take care of every aspect of your adventure for you. Simply pick how long you would like to walk for and which route you would like to take. We will pick up your bags every morning from your accommodation and transfer them for you, to have them waiting at your next destination at the end of the day. Click here for a sample itinerary.

Our sample itineraries are really a guide to show you what you can expect from a day enjoying one of our unique experiences. But we can work with you to make the day as bespoke as you like. Most of our day experiences include a delicious lunch, usually a luxury picnic.
